Love Loud. Play Proud.

Pride at the Cathouse is more than a party—it’s a statement. We celebrate queer joy, community, and the freedom to be unapologetically you. Expect killer beats, wild performers, special guests, and a space where everyone belongs.

Come as you are. Leave unforgettable.

About Pride

Every June, the Cathouse turns up the volume on love. Our Pride season is a high-energy celebration of LGBTQ+ community, creativity, and visibility.

From drag and dance to art, fashion, and friendly chaos, Pride is where our family comes together to be loud, be bold, and be exactly who we are.

All identities. All bodies. All vibes. Always welcome.

Love Loud. Play Proud.

The Haunted Cathouse was built for people who do not fit cleanly into other people’s rooms. June is when we turn that fact up loud enough for the windows to notice.

The Event

Pride at the Haunted Cathouse is a 21+ queer-forward gathering for music, chosen family, self-expression, dancing, glamour, camp, leather, glitter, claws, soft landings, and the right to exist without shrinking.

This is not rainbow wallpaper. This is not a corporate logo in seasonal drag. This is house-level Pride: handmade, loud, intimate, messy in the right places, and held together by consent.

What to Expect

Expect DJs, dancing, visuals, expressive outfits, social space, photo moments, camp horror, raveyard energy, goth glamour, kink-aware community, and people showing up in versions of themselves that do not need translation.

The room may be bright. The corners may be dark. The house has always been good at holding both.

There may be glitter. There may be leather. There may be someone dressed like a disco cryptid who also has impeccable manners.

Who It’s For

Pride is for queer adults, trans adults, questioning adults, chosen family, respectful allies, kink-aware community, artists, dancers, soft goths, loud femmes, hard femmes, soft mascs, creature-mode beauties, shy weirdos, and people whose outfits are easier to understand than their paperwork.

Come as your full self, partial self, under-construction self, or “I am not explaining this to anyone tonight” self.

Newcomers are welcome when they understand that this room is not for extraction, debate, identity policing, or spectacle.

House Rules

No identity policing. No touching without consent. No entitlement to anyone’s body, story, attention, name, pronouns, explanation, affection, or performance.

Respect people’s boundaries the first time. Use correct names and pronouns. Handle correction cleanly. Do not make someone else’s existence into your learning lab.

This is a 21+ private, RACK-aware, consent-forward space.

Why It Matters

Because queer joy needs rooms that are not built by sponsors, cops, landlords, or algorithms.

Pride at the Cathouse is for chosen family, strange beauty, loud survival, private celebration, and the simple fact that the room gets better when people are allowed to become more themselves.

Dress & Vibe

Queer goth, rainbow cryptid, leather pride, glitter demon, raveyard glam, drag-adjacent, punk fairy, fetish formal, camp horror, soft masc, hard femme, creature mode, or whatever makes you more yourself.

House Rule Spotlight

No identity policing. No touching without consent. No entitlement to anyone’s story.

Chosen family. Loud colors. Clear consent.

About Haunted Cathouse Events

The Haunted Cathouse is a 21+ private arts, music, kink-aware, and community space in an old Roxbury Victorian with too much history and several cats in the mythology. Our events are built around music, consent, weird culture, chosen family, and the belief that a good house party can still feel like a portal.

Core Event Standards

  • 21+ only
  • Consent is active, specific, and reversible
  • RACK-aware behavior expected
  • Respect the house, the hosts, the cats, the neighbors, and the room
  • Costumes, themes, flirtation, and play do not override boundaries
  • Private-house energy: act like someone invited you into a real place, because they did
