The Event
Christmas at the Haunted Cathouse is our 21+ December gathering for dark holiday décor, chosen-family warmth, music, winter glamour, strange gifts, seasonal mischief, and holiday connection without forced wholesomeness.
It is for people who want the lights, the food, the music, and the warmth without pretending the holidays are simple.
What to Expect
Expect haunted ornaments, black-tree energy, winter visuals, DJs or curated music, social time, themed outfits, possible gift rituals, cozy corners, and a room full of adults making the season fit instead of letting the season flatten them.
There may be Krampus. There may be velvet. There may be an ugly sweater with menace. There may be someone dressed like a cursed toy from a mall display that closed in 1997.
The room can be warm without getting mushy. The holidays work better when nobody is forced into a role.

Christmas at the Cathouse is for adults who want holiday gathering through the side door.
It is for chosen family, goth Christmas people, Krampus people, winter glamour people, cozy creatures, holiday skeptics, sentimental weirdos, private-house regulars, and newcomers who know how to enter a room respectfully.
Dressing up is encouraged. Comfort is allowed. Seasonal sincerity is optional but not mocked if it appears.

Do not assume closeness. Do not pressure anyone into hugs, gifts, photos, rituals, drinking, dancing, emotional disclosure, or holiday cheer. Ask first. Accept cleanly. Keep the warmth voluntary.

About Haunted Cathouse Events
The Haunted Cathouse is a 21+ private arts, music, kink-aware, and community space in an old Roxbury Victorian with too much history and several cats in the mythology. Our events are built around music, consent, weird culture, chosen family, and the belief that a good house party can still feel like a portal.
